Why do I need a dump valves?

Dump valves eliminate compressor surge when changing gears. Excessive back pressure is created when the throttle is closed during gear changes or deceleration, causing turbo cavitations. By fitting a blow off valve will substantially improve this problem.

What other benefits will I get?

You will significantly reduce turbo spool up time. You will notice a substantial improvement in response from your turbo between gearshifts. Boost will come on earlier giving an increase in torque at lower RPM.

The dump valve must have solid construction to handle the thousands of cycles it will see during the years of use. An inferior seating system will eventually fail and drop foreign material into your engine
